The last couple of weeks have been full of wonderfulness and challenges (read: much stress). I’ve felt pulled in opposing directions by spending hours adding products to my e-shop just before its launch, while I needed to prepare our house for two of my dearest friends’ (hi Kelly and Sarah!!) weekend visit, dealing my e-shop’s malfunction on processing orders, while I wanted to enjoy and be totally present with my friends, & absorbing information at a creative business seminar, while I wanted and needed to promote my new online business. Not to mention coping with mama-guilt for buying fast food for my girls every night lately and the sheer exhaustion of it all. Do you have conflicting roles and duties? How about mama-guilt?

In spite of the chaos and frustrations, I was hugely supported and buoyed up. Friends and loved ones stepped in to “rescue” me without my even having to ask for it. Is there anything better than that? Here are a few specific examples of my many blessings:
1. A great friend helped me clean our house (in its worst state!).
2. My girls made their beds, dusted and vacuumed their rooms, mopped the kitchen, and cleaned their bathroom (even the toilet!).
3. My sweetheart went to the grocery store for me, saving me over an hour of time and many pounds of tension.
4. A wonderful neighbor jumped at the chance for my girls to stay with her for a few days.
5. Numerous beautiful people have sent me glorious messages of encouragement and praise.
Here’s what I’ve recently learned (maybe these will help you too!):
1. Just breathe, trust that the solution will be revealed, and ask for &/or accept help.
2. I (we) don’t have to do it all alone.
3. People truly want to help me (you).
4. I’m (you are) more productive and healthy when I (you) delegate.
5. Self-care is of supreme importance. It is a non-negotiable key to my (your) success.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
